The poem “Fauxbade” today on Poetry Daily:

So I read the walls. Walk
the empty rooms like a vine. I begin, begin, begin, begin
nothing.

Is by Heather Sellers, about whom I wrote a while back in a totally different context; she has the neurological condition prosopagnosia, or “face blindness”; she is unable to recognize even people she knows well.

And just to be even more wordgeekerish, “fauxbade” is a portmanteau of “faux” and the poetic form “aubade” (“a song or poem greeting the dawn”).
